Thomas's Story
Life
After Greenville Hi; I spent 9 years in the USAF; I married a Welsh Girl in 1957 and had 47 yr's together with 6 children and 21 Grandchildren. She passed away in 2003, I was able to retire in 2004 and I am living in a small 2 bed bungalow overlooking the town/village of Pontarddulais. I am a member of the World Famous Male Voice Choir; we will be touring Pennsylvania and New York in October . Looking forward to Class Reunion in November.

will remember them because of the "Shotgun" cartridge that was used to start the engines, Brought the fire engines over the first time we fired up.
Every one soon got used to them.
My final assignment in the Airforce was at Dyess in Abiline Texas. I was the armament instructor in the Field Training Detachment . My class room was on the flightline. There were four of us there, three officers and me. They gave me a class room where they had been feeding Black Widow spiders, I think it was supposed to be a joke, but Govt. issue DDT soon put that problem out of the way.
