Thomas's Story
Retirement is here!. After 42 years of library work, it is time. Life has been very exciting for an old farm boy. I was such a 'country bumpkin' when I left high school, I am surprised that I made it.
I survived H.S., college (4 degrees, BA, MLS, MEd, and Ed. D.)and was fairly successful.
I married Billie Staton who graduated from KWC in 1973. We have two daughters, Rene, who is a lawyer near Dallas, TX, and Nicole, who ...Expand for more
is a cosmetologist. Nicole finished her B.A. at Jacksonville State University. They are both married, one grand daughter, Harper Elizabeth.
I retired in 2012 after 42 years of service. I worked with the Arapaho and Shoshone Indians on the Wind River Indian Reservation in Wyoming from 1979-1983. I moved to Lewisvilel, Texas in October of 2012.
I am into genealogy and will publish some family histories in the near future.
