Thomas's Story

Life Let's see.....Left for Germany in 1988 and stayed for 10 years playing music professionally (guitar, natch) for some groups like The Platters, Charlie Daniels and Martina McBride (and damn it, I hate country music!) while on tour. Toured all through Europe in that time. Moved to the East in 1998, Korea to be exact and had the chance to travel to Thailand (best diving experience!), Japan and all over Korea. Got married in Korea (first wife was Italian, we met in Germany). After 12 years of being out of the states, came back to the Savannah, Georgia area. It sucked! The southeast is not for me, man! Good to be so close to Daytona for nostalgic reasons, though. Recently moved to Alaska. Kick ass!!! Cold as hell but beautiful. What's next? Either Washington DC or back to Germany for the rest of my life or who knows?!? Countries I've toured in: Germany, England,...Expand for more
Scotland, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Iceland, Bosnia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Egypt (nasty hell hole), Jordan, Qatar, Korea, Japan, Thailand and there must be some more, but I'm getting senile! UPDATE: I'm living in Baltimore, Maryland at least for the next 7 years. This place sucks, well, the traffic sucks. Basically, I stationed with the US Army Field Band in Fort Meade, which is amazing duty. I'll be on the road for about 150 days out of the year, touring the country, just playing guitar. My first tour is coming up and I'll be gone for a month all along the coast of Cali, Nevada (many days in Vegas), Arizona and probably another state, doesn't matter. Cool job...
