Thomas's Story
I Lived in Shaker Heights all of my early life. Graduated from St Dominic Catholic School and I went to Shaker Height High for 1 year and then off I went to St Francis Prep in Spring Grove PA for 3 years - attended Kent State University for 2 years then decided to join the Navy for high adventures - stayed for 6 years - I Remained in Florida after being stationed as a Spanish linguist flying on air reconnaissance aircraft out of Key West Naval Air Station and some years later owned Florida Welding Supply with locations in Tampa, Orlando and Vero Beach. Currently living near Tampa, in Hudson Florida, with the love of my life, my wife of 28 years, JoAn McCormack I retired as national sales manager for Uniweld Products in Fort Lauderdale. I have been named Chairman of The Board of Directors of The American Welding Society, District 5 - Florida West Coast. I have grown children. Here it is 2023 and I am still kicking - now living in a clothing optional resort community near Tampa in Florida. Life is Good!
Now it is 2024, because of health issues for my wife, JoAn and I, Ed moved to Century Oaks Assisted Living in Melbourne. That was in June of this year. Now in August on August 21 my dear wife of 29 years my wife, JoAn died. Almost in my arms in our bed, where we live in assisted living. I've been crying ever since. I am posting this on September 1 now that I can almost see again. My heart is broken - thanks for my friends who know me my number (321) 536-6555 is open to the public. God Bless You!
