Thomas's Story
Over the past 10 years, as a licensed assistant funeral director, I've buried several hundred people. Most are from Topeka, but their were a fair amount from out in the county and some of the farming communities. Burials have taken place locally, further in the State, and a few in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. I seriously believe that this is one of the most satifying, not morbid, jobs I've had since I started throwing Goldblatt advertisement papers in the early 1960s.

ey traverse the worst days of their lives by losing a loved one. God has blessed me with a continuos ability to show empathy, concern, and assistance during those days in their lives.
My entire life has been satifying, but these past 10 have truly a blessing from God. I even feel closer to him and my religious knowlwdge. Yes, our Lord has protected me from death during seversl instances in police work, and I graciously thank Him for that protection.
May God bless and protect each and every one of you, as He has me, as you go down the pathway in life.
