Life
Hello,
After graduation I started Penn State Univsersity, decided to transfer to the Active Army from the Army National Guard.
In 1992 I was stationed at Fort Knox, KY, got married in April 1993 and we had our daughter in November of 1994. Her name is CaLynda Lane Rowlands.
I've since moved to North Carolina where I was at Fort Bragg, as an Personnel Airborne Paratrooper. After that assignment in 2000 I decided to try my hand at being an Army Recruiter' and I hated that assignment. Once I was finished with that assignment I was statione...Expand for more
d at the Boston Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) in Boston MA. During that tour of duty I was able to finish my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Now I am currently stationed at Fort Richardson, Alaska where I will be deployed to Iraq in October of this year 2006.
I have been transferred in 2007 to the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion in Jacksonville, Florida which is my current assignment.
I always wanted to be a Soldier when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a wild idea. As it turns out, they were right.
