Thomas's Story
Life
(Anyone who remembers me knows me from the class of 63...however, I actually graduated in "64 from Reynoldsburg H.S.)I've been in Fla. for over 20 years. Just retired as a Mental Health Counselor. "Boy...have I had a full life" and much more ahead,God willing! I've lost touch like so many of us and would love to re-establish contact with "Old Friends" (I have the time now).
Workplace
Before retiring I was lucky & blessed by working in two career fields that provided the emotional fullfilment that allowed me to look forward to each day on the job! I spent just under 20 years working in Broadc...Expand for more
asting (Radio, TV and Cable TV) and another 15 years as a Mental Health Specialist...overall the combination of the two was extreemly rewarding and fullfilling!
Military
My tour in the USAF was a really great experience. Learned to love the big sky & mountains of Montana (Malmstrom AFB) Also learned that I can go another lifetime without returning to Texas (basic). Spent 18 month tour in Turkey (Samsun AFB) in American Forces Radio & TV. Great tour and intensivly interesting culture & people. Overall, however, it is the camaraderi of my GI buddys that I'll always remember and treasure.
