Tiffanie's Story
Life
After high school I went to BYU. I met my husband, Matt, there. I thought he was hot because he was on the track team! We got married in Dec. 1997 and graduated in Apr. 2000. I got my degree in Business Marketing/Advertising and my husband got his in Business Information Systems. Then we moved to Alaska where Matt became part-owner/operator of a roofing/construction company. I quit working and we quickly became known primarily as mom and dad.
We had a little boy, Josh, in Aug. 2000, a little girl, Elizabeth "Liz", in Oct. 2002 and another little girl, Natalia "Tali" on July 4 2006. Josh and Liz both played soccer this summer, but I think they each have different "loves." Josh loves running, bike-riding and rock climbing. He's an amazing climber too. ow off her acrobatics anywhere with a bar or an open floor area. Tali just turned one (but she's a tiny little thing). She's learning to walk and talk. She loves to surprise unsuspecting people in the grocery store by saying "hi" as they pass by.
We still live in Anchorage, AK and our roots here are getting deeper and deeper. I didn't think we'd stay here forever, but now I think we might. My husband grew up here and was already in love and I've fallen in love with Alaska in the last five years.
We have both put our love for running on the back-burner and have taken up cycling. We road-bike and mountain-bike and we're pretty good at it. We're both semi-pro, but really do it just for fun. I still stay at home with the kids and plan to do that for a long time. My parents still live in Vegas, so we visit often.
