Life
Life since high school: I Graduated form South Gwinnett High School. I started dating a guy from church shortly after graduation (Doug Britt) and started college at Georgia Perimeter (previously Dekalb College). I was working part time as well. Doug and I got married in Feb. 1996 - it was a comedy of errors as there was a snow/ice storm the night before our wedding. I completed an associates degree in Biology at Georgia Perimeter and applied to University of Georgia to continue working on a bachelor's degree. After completing the necessary classes I applied to The University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine, was accepted, and started Vet School in August of 1999. ad wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. It was most definitely the most gruely hard four years of my life, but it was worth it. I practice at a Hospital in Snellville, GA and absolutely love what I do. I was practicing for ~9 months, full time and then Doug and I found out we were expecting (six days before I was scheduled for extensive knee surgery - cancelled surgery) so I continued to work full time until Hayden Elizabeth Britt was born on Oct. 22, 2004. She is absolutely gorgeous and such an amazing blessing to our lives. We are now living in Grayson, GA, and we have 3 other children of the four legged sort; a 10 1/2 year old Rottweiler - Sabrina, a 13 year old mixed breed - River and last, but by no means least a 7 year old mixed breed - Gretchen.
