Time for another re-do. :) We are now finally settled into a place in MT; took long enough! We stayed in a coworker's basement for too long, until we found a teensy single-wide that would let us move in with a cat. Having a cat in Montana essentially gets you black-listed for rentals. Or maybe it's the 5 kids... Anyway, we are finally living in a 4bdrm with a nice big storage area. Only problem is the place is somewhat old - though under new ownership. They've already done a lot of remodeling in the unit itself, but the storage shed leaks like a sieve and the walls are apparently cracked everywhere. *sigh* No place is perfect, I guess. It's weird being in a place where we knew absolutely no one. When my husband was in the Navy, for the most part we lived no more than half an hour from my parents. Which was both good and bad. When my husband got transferred to a duty station about 3 hours away, we had the best of both worlds; a place of our "own" and the ability to take the kids to grandma's for a weekend (or a couple weekdays depending on Greg's duty/leave schedule) and maybe go out on a date. Of course, with his sea schedule, that rarely happened anyway... but in theory it was nice. :) Now we are far from everyone. I still have yet to really make any friends here; but I know it takes time.
