Tim's Story
I was only at I C for two years, starting Grade 1 in 1959, leaving after Grade 2 in 1960, before moving east to Riverside. Kelly Hoppe and Joanne Eberly are the only two names I recall. At that time I lived at the intersection of Huron Line and Disputed Roads and a bunch of us took a taxi to school and back...Expand for more
. In the 'hood lived the Boose families, the Bridgens and the Beneteaus.
I remember getting caught in the "forbidden ditch" one day at recess (along with 10 others) and were sent to the office for reprimands.
Ironically, I've eventually settled back in South Windsor, living very close to the school site.
