Tim's Story
Life
Hi to all who may remember me.
I attended Palo Verde grade school from 68-74 and Apollo in 75 until march 76 when I moved to California.I now live in Aliso Viejo Ca with my second wife Sue.I have 3 wonderful girls from my first marriage,Jessica 23,Lauren 21 and Melissa 21,yes that's right a father of twins.Wasn't easy raising them either, still am...kind of.
I work for AT&T,25 years, now as a dsl technician, basically I do troubleshooting.
I have one pet,Pippin,my Scottish Terrior and he's awesome.I drive a 2002 Altima and love my car.
My loves and interests include playing organized softball(slow pitch),on a bowling team, snow skiing, backpacking, fishing, mountain bike riding,I no longer swim much or play tennis.
Backgammon is my game as far as board games go,cards of any kind, especially blackjack in Vegas or hearts and canasta.I collect shot glasses and have about 500 now.Used to collect baseball cards and Olympic pins but got too expensive and too many different baseball card manufacturers flooding the market ruined my interest in it.
I love all styles of music except rap and country. My favorite is progressive rock and Jazz, all forms, but mainstream or straight ahead is my passion.I am currently learning to play the Saxophone and it ain't easy folks, but a lot of fun.I play only one other instrument, the piano, and not very well at that.I used to be in choir in grade school and all through high school,no longer sing in a group, but would love to get back into that.
a dream of mine is to do voice over work when I retire,I can mimic ...Expand for more
a lot of different voices and have been told by people that I am wasting my time working for a phone company.Oh well, that's the way life takes you sometimes.I attended a clown college in 1985 and wanted to pursue that field believe it or not(people who know me know i was always a clown),but that got pushed aside when twins arrived that year.Never got back to it,maybe after retirement.
Life goes by so fast doesn't it?
Clint Eastwood is my hero!! I love everything he has done, especially the spaghetti westerns and Dirty Harry series.
Don't read too many books, but true crime and mystery are my favorite.Very interested in forensics and investigating.Anything unexplained intrigues me.
Favorite tv channels,Discovery,Sci-fi,science,history,Espn or any sports of course, especially baseball.Love my Angels and Giants.Commedy channel rocks too.Pretty much stay away from the main 3 networks anymore, only watch cnn news, regular local news is too depressing.
Love to travel, been to Hawaii 3 times, most of the western states, some midwest but haven't been to the East coast yet.Ireland,England,Scottland,Wales once, incredible trip.Still to come? too many to mention, but New Zealand and Australia are top on my list.
People I would most like to get in contact would be Rob Meier,Jeff Thul,Rob Decker.Hope their lives are going well, none are registered here.
Would love to hear from anyone I knew in Arizona.I do miss it very much and all people I knew. I have a lot of fond memories of the Grand Canyon State.
Take care all,and have a great life!!
