Tim's Story
Electronics and I have been buddies for over 40 years. I had three years of schooling at Sparks to thank for that. Mr. Webber was my teacher there. That was 1967 through 1968.
I moved to Lake Tahoe at the start of my senior year and graduated from George Whittell HS in June of 1969. A couple of years out in the working world made me want something more. So in September of 1972 I went to a trade school in Portland, Oregon, called United Electronics Institute. I graduated there in October of 1974. That led to jobs in southern California, Reno, and the Pacific Northwest where I currently reside.
Along the way, I was married twice, I have children from both marriages (they are grown now), and divorced twice. I presently have a life partner who I share cats with.

uter geek (that started with the Commodore 64 and continues today with Intel inside machines). I like to build my own from store bought parts. My last job was working for General Dynamics - Itronix where we made ruggedized laptops (I was in heaven working there). To bad they shut down the plant and moved to Florida and Offshore ("Life is like a box of chocolates" I have heard someone say - Itronix was my molasis chew).
My partner writes articles occasionally and my photography has helped to illustrate them. It has actually stimulated us to do some local traveling (behaving like tourists in our own town) to look at museums and artifacts with a new light. We have had fun, and, hopefully, enlightened some of our local friends to the delights here at home.
I am working as a temp right now, and I hope to go back to school to learn about being a Network Administrator. There appears to be a need for this kind of work here in the Northwest. Gotta keep those cats fed!
