Tim's Story
Well lets see, I left high school in 74 for the Marines (I thought school was boring, boy was I in for excitement). After 4 years of flying around in a Ch53 helicopter in So. Calif. I decided to head home to the the Bellevue area. I decided to take up skydiving with my buddies Doug Scofield and Mark Leverenz. In 1979 Doug and I started a team which competed from 1980 to 1986 wining 3 national championships and represented the USA in world competition. gton Wa. I will never forget that day. We were jumping together for the first time in awhile and tragedy struck I will always wounder why Doug and I survived and Mark Didn't. I gave up skydiving in the mid 90's to spend more time with my family and took up golf.
I have worked for Boeing for 29 years and hope to retire someday. My wife of 25 years who I met skydiving works for IBM from home mostly we raised 3 children and they are all gone from the nest, well for the most part anyway. Well that's it for now.
