8AUG2009 Another year gone by. It seems time flies whether you are having fun or not when you get past 50! It is time for my yearly update and I am pleased to report not much difference than last years update. I continue to work for the Army as a contractor. I did spend a few months in Iraq and now Afghanistan. The most recent being a 30 day stint at Bagram Air Field (North of Kabul). I have a few photos of Bagram and the surrounding area. I will try to load them up today. Sandra has retired from the military as a Lt Col in the Air Force and she has been working around town at various hospitals. Both of us are in countdown mode for retirement. We are finally getting settled in our new home in NW Tucson. I enjoy the city and living so close to the mountains. Fortunately for me my trips to Sierra Vista got cut down drastically. The 3 hour + round trip was getting old. Our son has joined the Army now and is stationed in Korea.
