Tim's Story

After graduating from Towle, I joined the US Army as an airplane mechanic. (Remember my dad's loud airplane that would rattle the school windows when he took off?) Spent 18 months in Vietnam as an airplane mechanic. Never had to fight in the jungles - but still had some hair-raising things happen. Was in a top secret unit whose job was to locate where enemy radio transmissions were coming from and call in strikes. Found out later it was actually part of NSA

ked at a greenhouse operation and distillation plant in Bermuda for 7 years, Returned to Lempster as a car/truck mechanic for a few more years
While there, I took a night course in computer programming, and I've been programming ever since. Love it!
I married the love of my life in 1976, We have 3 children, and now 7 grandchildren. We are still together. We are blessed and grateful.
Still haven't retired - I'm having too much fun. But probably will in the next couple years.
