Tim's Story
For most of my life, North Carolina was home. After 20+ years as an IT guy, I took a job in Sales and now in the last 5 years, I've lived in Tampa, FL and San Antonio, TX. Both moves were job related with my company. Tampa was ok, but San Antonio is great. I'm not sure if I'll ever leave...
Now that I've got some extra time, I'll fill in the blanks. At the age of 31, I got married to an Erie PA girl who loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Pittsburgh Penguins. She went to school at Wake Forest with Tim Duncan who is the franchise player for the San Antonio Spurs (this will come to play later in the story). left Tampa for San Antonio. The only reason my wife would agree to move to TX was because it was San Antonio and we would be able to go to Spurs games. We have access to lower level seats directly behind the "family & friends" section (see photo of Eva Longoria). We've been here in San Antonio for 2 years now. It's hot, but not that humid and a blast of a city to live in; a lot of history and culture here. 11 month long summers aren't bad either.
We keep ourselves occupied by traveling, playing with our two dogs, and attending/watching most any sporting event there is. Somewhere in there, we still have to work to pay for everything. I work for a great company that doesn't seem to mind relocating me at my discretion. It keeps things interesting.
