Tim's Story
I attended Pine Grove Elementary, Mid Valley Junior High, and Wy'East when it was a high school. I attended Oregon State University and after starting in Pre-Veterinary Medicine transferred to the School of Agriculture and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Education. I married my wife Sandy in 1970 and, after graduation from OSU, we went to Malawi, Africa where we worked with the Africa Evangelical Fellowship where I taught Agriculture to the nationals. business in Hermiston, OR. In 1981, I was hired to head up the public works for the City of Stanfield, OR after which our family of 5 moved to Kennewick, WA where I managed irrigation districts for 12 1/2 years. I owned and operated my own business specializing in water related venues until 2010 when I was hired by Irrigation Specialists in Pasco as an automation specialist. I am scheduled to retire September 15th of this year after which we will travel to Kenya, Africa where we will be constructing a sewer plant and collection system for an orphanage in Katali. We have three children- 2 girls - Amy and Michelle and 1 son- John.
