I love Galena, IL in the fall,and have cruised to the Bahamas and to a few other places. Ever been to Devil's Lake, WI in the Autumn...or to Door County? One of my favorite places in Florida is Clearwater Beach. Disney is great when there are kids along...to watch the excitement on their faces. San Diego is nice as is the Bay area. I have been to various parts of England and to Paris. I was sickened in China and was sick for many months after the last of many trips to Mexico City - yet I love that laid back largest of cities! I rode a train through the Alps from Switzerland to Germany. I have back packed the Rockies, the Smokies and the flat-lands. TYet, the most fulfilling moments of my life - more enjoyable than any of the above - was playing a flashlight-lit game of cards after repairing a leaky tent in a torrential downpour! The rocks I have collected in the mountains and the shells I have picked up along the beaches are far more valuable to me than the priciest items bought in the finest shops from around the world! ...Expand for more
