Tim's Story
Life
- Joined the Navy in '95 as a journalist/public affairs specialist.
- Lived in Japan (96-99) serving as broadcast operations manager, news director, anchor/producer/reporter and morning radio DJ.
- Lived in Guam (99-01) serving on board USS Frank Cable as public affairs officer and senior journalist.
- Served at Camp Smith, Hawaii (01-03) as media realtions officer and webmaster for Joint Task Force Full Accounting, searching for & bringing back MIAs (remains) from Southeast Asia.
- Served at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (03-04)...Expand for more
as leading chief, media relations officer and managing editor.
- Served as public affairs/media officer and leading chief on board USS Peleliu in San Diego from March 04 - April 05.
- Now a civilian, I'm currently working for Northrop Grumman Corporation in San Diego handling all PR, media relations and advertising for the company's Unmanned Aircraft (UAVs).
- Have traveled to or lived in Japan, Guam, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Singapore, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos since '95.
