Tim's Story

UPDATED: 06JUN2016... Guess I will start at where I am now in Life, and let y'all figure me out from there. Currently in Boston MA. Settled in MA after I got out of the Military cuz my father was from here originally, and my mother was from Maine. All of you who knew me and knew my parents were always welcome guests in their home way back in the way back, back then. I became the dutiful son, being the oldest out of 6, and was blessed enough to be their caregivers in the last years of their walk on this good green Earth. Lost my Mom to stroke complications in 1996, and my Dad, who was a Navy Veteran of 30 years and did 3 tours of Korea, passed in my arms 20NOV99, and for those who have never been with Death in the same room, it was hard watching the Light of Life leaving his eyes as I held him and said Goodbye. Lost my 2 brothers, Paul (Jan2015) and John (25DEC2010), and my oldest sister Robin (10MAR2001); now, there is only myself and my 2 youngest sisters left, and everyone still looks to me to be the "Strong One" for the family. Very unique life for myself through the years... And both Fortunate and Blessed as well. Survived my Navy service, doing different jobs through the years from working gas stations, convenience stores, company truck driver delivering government paperwork, even to Home Depot, then as a Night Auditor for an inn in Maine. Also ended up becoming a Security Enforcement Officer, for almost 25 years off and on, and at the same time, managed to find myself within the boundaries of the music world, and making friends and acquaintances over the years, from people in the Allman Brothers to the Irish band Clannad to Los Lobos... Yes, it has been a "long strange trip" as the Grateful Dead have said before. Many musicians were just happenstance chance meetings, like members of Heart, Blackfoot, POCO, Savoy Brown, KANSAS, the late Felix Pappalardi, bass player of Mountain who produced some of Cream's albums, to 60's icons Chad and Jeremy, even spending 3 days with the Searchers, the #2 band out of Liverpool behind them Fab Four Dudes., and even having had the chance to meet the late great Frank Zappa. And then all the various concerts over the years, from McCartney to Pink Floyd, Kinks to Blue Oyster Cult, Santana to Jefferson Starship, and so many many more good memories. and as you get older, memories are mostly what you have left in your head and in your heart... Never let them go, and, if necessary, share them with as many old and new friends as you can to let them know who and what your Life was all about (tim nh two three five one at gee mail). Because that is all our Lord and savior gave us: Life Itself, no rose gardens, no fanfare trumpets, and the everyday emotions of Joy, Pain, Gain and Loss, tears of Happiness and Sad times, strong days and weak, for we are only human after all. Now, my current struggle is with cancer and damage from a slip & fall when I was working Security at the New England Center For Homeless veterans, where I also lived for...Expand for more
2 and a half years of my life. Yes, I have been in the streets and passed around amongst family as a loved member but also as baggage that no one needed or wanted. I even met an amazing young Operation Iraqi freedom Army Veteran, Bill, who quickly became my best friend in 2013, and unknowingly, we actually saved one another's lives! Now, since I no longer have any real family left me here in Massachusetts, he does not want me being alone here, and, since he has a home in Oklahoma (Oh! those beautiful open spaces out there...), he wants me to move out there for several reasons, the major ones being we can help take care of one another because the V.A. simply will not, to be the balance to each other as Veterans and Warriors, because cost of living is far cheaper there than here in Boston, where my own one bedroom apartment would normally fetch in $1850 a month, and damn glad I have a Veterans' housing voucher to defray costs, and so Bill and I can get a working group together in southern OK to help educate people about the "22-A-Day" Vet suicides, and get support groups working out there. I also educate others about the REAL TRUE agenda of Islam, Sharia Law, and the Muslim Brotherhood's plans to takeover this country, destroy the Constitution, and replace it with strict barbaric Sharia Laws. I even started my own fundraising pages, one at GoFundMe and the other at YouCaring, under my name listed as Tim Denis-Pollard, to help me raise the funds to get out there and settled in, along with the hope of buying alternative proven cancer cures the FDA, Big Chemo and Big Pharma all lie to everyone about, especially since it has come out over the last 2 years that chemo and radiation are 97% ineffective in TREATING cancers (they were NEVER meant to be a CURE), and which only make cancers extremely aggressive at that point, and you usually end up with a guaranteed life span of 1-5 years after being fatally poisoned by these deadly toxins... Sounds like medical manslaughter to me but what do I know, since I actively study Civil, Constitutional, and Criminal Laws, right? Unfortunately, either to poor timing or people not giving a damn, my fundraising page to help me has been ignored or fallen on deaf ears. Seems like there is better money to be raised if I was a HS jock with a broken finger (Yes, that's actually a true story! Guy raised over $10K), but little ol" me can't raise something legitimate as a Veteran to even help me with most likely my final move in life... Wonder what happened to moral priorities and open support for Veterans nowadays??? Anyone who wants to actually read my page and see the additional work both Bill and I have tried to do here in Boston, is more than welcome to leave a personal message to get hold of you for the link. It even has the support and backing of Susan Zuker, President of the Conquer Cancer Foundation of Massachusetts. Anyway, that's my Clif Notes version of Life for me up to this point. Let me know what you think. Take care and God bless you all!
