Timothy's Story
After graduating West, I went to Northeast Missouri State (now Truman), then finished my degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice at UM-St. Louis. After working for the St. Louis County Police, I returned to UM-St. Louis and began working on my doctorate. In 1998, my wife Michelle and I had our first child (Abby) and then spent about 4 years in Springfield, Illinois, while I worked with the Illinois State Police....Expand for more
Our second daughter (Maggie) was born in Illinois in 2001. After finishing my dissertation, I accepted a position as Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Dallas, and in 2004 our 3rd daughter (Ainsley) was born. I'm now privileged to serve as the Director of the J. McDonald Williams Institute, a public policy think-tank in Dallas. Michelle, Abby, Maggie, Ainsley, and I are expecting baby Bray #4 in May!
