Timothy's Story
Graduated from Pilgrim HS in 1986.
Graduated from Northeastern University in 1994 with a BS in Psychology.
Graduated from Northeastern University in 1996 with a MS in Applied Educational Psychology.
Got married to Colleen that year.
Worked at Nashoba Regional High School from 96-98 as a guidance counselor and basketball/baseball coach. LOVED it there. Awesome school, great kids.
Moved back to RI in 1998. We bought our first house in Hope, and I went to work for the RI Dept. of Ed. Worst job ever. Hated every single second of it.
Went to West Warwick HS in 1999 and worked as the Director of Student Services and Counseling for six years. Had some very interesting experiences there...
In 2003 I entered the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership at John...Expand for more
son and Wales University. I completed all of the coursework, but did not defend my dissertation, leaving me ABD. I did, however, get a great deal of knowledge and experience from the program and made some wonderful friends for life along the way.
My daughter Lily was born in 2004.
Moved on to MUCH greener pastures in 2005 at North Kingstown HS. One of the Top 500 schools in America according to US News. I am an Assistant Principal there, overseeing curriculum, instruction and assessment as well as the guidance and counseling program and love it in every way.
My son Wil was born in 2005.
We moved to Coventry in 2006 and love it here. Life is good, but a warning... appearances and memories are not always actual size when viewed in the mirror of your reality.
