Timothy's Story
Life
After high school, went into the Army as a MP and served in Frankfurt Germany, Gulf War and Ft Meade. Worked for Montgomery Wards and Security Mall for 5 years (loss prevention and security)Graduated with a BS in Political Science and BS in Justice Studies, currently in law school at the University of Baltimore, decided that wasn't for me...now I am a District Court Commissioner for Washington County. Not currently involved in anyone special...remind me to change this if that changes...wouldn't want to "offend" anyone.
First Update..I am now the Managing Commissioner for Washington and Frederick Counties..
Second Update...I was promoted in 2007 to Administrative Commissioner for Washington and Frederick Counties
Third Update...I was promoted in December 2014 to Executive Director, Commissioner at District Court HQ in Annapolis
School
Graduated from Woodlawn High School in May 1987. Went into the US Army in 1988, basic training at Ft McClellan Al, stationed in Frankfurt Germany from 4/1989 - 12/91. Served in the Gulf War, deployed to Zahko Iraq from 1/91 - 6-91. Served at Ft Meade MD 1/9 - to end of tour of service. Worked for a few years and went to college, (Frostburg State), graduated 12/2001, went to University of Baltimore Law School, 8/2002 to present. However will most likely drop out to find a "real" job. Law isn't what it is cracked up to be..hehe
College
I didn't start college until I was 28, went to Frostburg State University, graduating..on...Expand for more
time (i might add) Dec 2001. I did a short stint at Univ of Baltimore School of Law, which may be something I re-pursue in the future..
Workplace
Since High School, I worked for Pace Membership Warehouse and UA Movies downtown Baltimore at Marketplace. I went into the US Army as Military Police, served in Frankfurt (West) Germany (Wall came down while I was there), Zahko, Iraq during the Gulf War, and Ft. Meade MD..served 4 years active, four years inactive. After the Army, worked for Montgomery Ward as a Loss Prevention Specialist and later a Loss Prevention Manager and simultaneously as Security for Security Square Mall. When Wards shut it's doors, I went to college and worked for a company called Spherix , in Cumberland MD which is a contract call center..first on the GSA's Federal Information Center, then with Michigan State Park Reservations. I moved back to Baltimore for law school and worked doing night security at Antwerpen..then landed my current job as a District Court Commissioner for Washington County.
Update: 3/2016 - I served as the Administrative Commissioner in Washington County until December 2014, I was promoted to Chief Commissioner (well Executive Director of Commissioners, but I like Chief) and now work and reside in Annapolis
