Timothy's Story

Life I was married for 26 years and now divorced. Have 3 kids and 3 grandchildren. I worked in construction related jobs with electrical my main field of work. I also have a Pastoral Ministry certificate. Now I live in Powassan, On. I live on a disability pension since my wife left. I don't know for sure whats next in my life but I know it will be better. Expecting a miraculous healing in all areas of my life. Right now I'm taking time to recover from physical injuries and emotional trauma before moving on. I never realized how much God loves us until my wife left. If I hurt this much than I can't imagine how much it hurts Him to have His children choosing to turn their backs to him and run away. I have had too many miracles happen in my life already to not believe in God and His grace and His mercies are new every morning. He gives me beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for morning and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I am a tree of righteousness, the planting of The Lord and His name will be glorified. I can't wait to see what He has in store for me. I serve an AWESOME GOD and I know He only wants good things for me. I don't know why He has allowed all the things that happened to me in my life but I do know that He gave me strength to endure them and the ability to overcome the circumstances. All I can do is praise Him for his mercy and grace and give him thanks. He has and always does bless me no matter what the situation is. May He bless each and every one that reads my profile and may you find the peace that passes all understanding by inviting Jesus into your life as I have found in mine. Even in the darkest hour He is and always will be my light. He will never leave you nor forsake you. That's something you can trust in. God Bless every one. ...Expand for more
Since writing this, I met a very wonderful woman. Pastor Kathy and I are now married and our family has doubled. She has three children from her first marriage too. We still live in Powassan and enjoy ministering to the people here. She is the Youth Pastor so our lives are very busy. We love what we do and enjoy every minute of being with the young people. GOD is so AWESOME! He has blessed us with a second chance and I know he LOVES us and wants the best for us. May you all be blessed with HIS LOVE. Kathy and I have moved to Norton, NB and live next to her dad. The property has been in their family for at least 6 generations and will probably be where we retire. It is a beautiful spot with rolling hills all around. The air is fresh and clean and the water from our well is always refreshing. We continue to serve at the church here in Norton and she has started a Bible study at the old Mercer Settlement Church (1887). The building has no hydro, water or bathroom facilities but does have a wood stove for heating. It is more of a historical building now and usually has a Christmas program every year for the people in the community. The board of directors were very pleased when Kathy asked to use the building for her bible study group and we are hoping that more people will attend in the near future. It is a great place here in NB but I do miss my children and grandchildren. I have 6 of them now. Her kids are still single and her 2 girls are pursuing their education. Well that is about it for now. Thanksgiving is coming up next week and we all have so much to be thankful for. BLESSINGS TO ALL. (2012)
