ery limited.they were not there to teach what I wanted to learn. I was there to learn what they chose to teach. I got along ok with teachers but didnt get along with or have any respect for school admin istrators.that situation was becoming intolerable and increasingly confrontational.Desiderata sounded like the sort of ALTERNATIVE I didnt think could exist.
