Timothy Moe:  

Life I'm a retired church musician living in Waynesville, NC. I'm married with one daughter, and two grandchildren - all of whom live nearby. I'm an avid hiker, and love exploring new trails. I have been section hiking the Appalachian trail for many years, and hope to complete it soon. I welcome the opportunity to reconnect with classmates, or anyone who shares some experiences. School My band director, Mr. Svec, was a great inspiration. I probably would not have gone into music were it not for him. All my 'band buddies' were a little 'crazy'. I remember a group of us ran for SCA offices on a 'non-traditional', 'non-conformist' platform. I was the only one of the bunch that came close to winning (treasurer). I have no idea what I would have done had I actually won! As a hormone crazed teen, I had frequent crushes, most of which were never realized. I was far too shy at the time to even speak to a girl, much less ask them out. I had a good HS experience, and the memories become more important as the years fly by. College I was a Music Education major, but changed my mind about teaching my senior year. I remember playing some great concerts with the VU orchestra, including the concerto competition my sophomore and senior years.
