Timothy's Story
Life
Performed in a concert tour across Europe with the Sound of America Chorus, and graduated from Wilkes University in 1995. Worked at Little Theatre of Wilkes-Barre as Box Office Manager and Marketing Director while at Wilkes, as well as performing onstage in several shows and serving on the Board of Directors for five years. I danced at Walt Disney World, Orlando with their Magic Music Days Festival in 1998. at a performing arts magnet school, named the top magnet school in the country in 2010. I continue to perform out here with Equity and community theatre groups. I earned my M.Ed. in Literacy Curriculum/Instruction from Lesley University, Cambridge, Mass. in 2004. I was a member of the National Writing Project, Southern Nevada Cohort, in 2005 and also work as a teacher consultant and mentor teacher/literacy trainer for the Clark County School District. I also received National Board Certification as a teacher of Early Childhood Literacy in 2010.
