Tina's Story

-Me- I have a blog...just Google me with my married name Tina Hayes. (Classmates does not allow url's) you will find my blog, my photolog, my galleries etc. etc. etc. -Family- I've been married to the same wonderful man since 1984, we have one son who is now an adult. Hubby is self employed in construction, and son is working on his demo tape to get into broadcasting...the video and audio editing end of it. I cared for my mom for many years until she passed away at home in 2004. (She lived with us from the time of her heart attack in 1991) Though I have discovered my artistic side, it is pretty clear that my role in life is that of caregiver...first raising my own, then caring for my mom, and now as my nephew's sitter. We lived in Southington from 1992-2006. We are now in Western MA, it feels odd to me not being in CT but I cannot imagine not being so close to my lil' sis and nephew. We have remained best friends since Jefferson Middle School. -College- After high school I attented the National Acadamy of Hairdressing, took and passed the boards but never worked as one. In a couple of years I'd like to attend the Hallmark Institute of Photography which is near where I now live. -Workplace- I'm a freelance web developer/graphic designer working from home. I hand code sites. Design is a serious passion for me....I love art. I am a 'serious amateur' photographer...my camera is an extension of me, and I LOVE Photoshop. I began babysitting my nephew full time in July 2006 after moving from Southington to South Hadley, MA. The move was made so I could be his sitter, and be closer to my sister and her wee one. I have worked in a factory, a clothing store, a 7-11, and at Stop & Shop, but I have been a stay at home mom since my son was born.
