Tina's Story
Tina is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is married. Her schools include Classen High School.
My interests include Garage Sales,, thrift stores. I like taking something old and turning it into something new and useful. I have done interior decorating but my passion lies mostly with restoring vintage furniture. I have one daughter, one son, and 7 grandchildren. My husband is retired and I work mostly to get out of the house b/c I love being around people. I have lived in Michigan for 18 years but still miss Oklahoma very much.
My basic beliefs are live and let live. It doesn't matter if you agree with someone's lifestyle or not, it's not any of our business. Each person has a right to love who they want and I feel nobody has the right to stand in the way of that. People that are opposed to certain things b/c of their religious beliefs get carried away with judgement and should worry more about how they live their own lives and not try to force others to live the way they believe they should. I am a volunteer for Relay for Life to raise money for The American Cancer Society. My mother died of breast cancer in 1996 and I just want to give back, they did so much to help her through her last years.
I believe strongly in doing my part to help who I can and never forget where I come from.
I've made many mistakes in my life and as I grow older I realize more of what's important and I get more gratification in helping those in need than I do anything else. The smile it puts on a person's face is an amazing thing to see. If we all just did one thing to help someone each chance we get, whether we know them or not, we all could make such a difference in so many lives. I also believe we are responsible for one another, you see someone that is handicapped and they appear to need help, then help.. if someone is hungry, feed them.. etc.
It's time for us to stop being selfish and to give back and to watch over each other.
