Life FIND ME ON FACEBOOK at Tina Lyons Heims Although high school wasn't the best chapter of my life I think about some of you from time to time (good thoughts...not thoughts of retribution or anything =). I spent 8 years in the Navy (it was a great experience that ended to soon, but God had other plans for me). I played housewife for 7 years, but that didn't agree with me. I worked my butt off as a rural carrier for the USPS for 2 1/2 years before I realized just why all those people went Postal (it's all those idiot supervisors!)I then went to work as an overnight delivery person which was great except they didn't want to pay me what I was worth! I got my Real Estate License and made some good money while the market was good, but now it's on ice until things get better. Now, I work the graveyard shift dispatching for a tow truck company. I'm living in Temecula which is an hour north of San Diego, CA. We're a beautiful Valley Community and our "Wine Country" produces some of the best tasting wines you'll find anywhere. I have two awesome kids (Scott-21 and Alicia-19) who are all the things I wanted to be and more! And after kissing many many toads (and marrying a few of them), I finally found my Prince Charming! He is my soulmate and best friend and one of the best police officers in San Diego (he graduated from Mira Mesa High/San Diego in 1988). The reunion was a blast and I can't wait to see you at the 30th! Thanks for keeping in touch! School I don't think much about school. It wasn't the best of times for me. Did I hate school? No, but I didn't really like it either. I think that is why I didn't go to college. I couldn't see spending another 4 years doing something I didn't like. I do remember all the fun I had out of school with Tracy Coen, Marna Judson, Deanna Fuller, Mary Keller, Shelly Gibbs, Chris Flieg, Laura Swalley...gee I know I'm forgetting someone. Anyway, most of my fun was away from school. When I do think of school I think of being harassed by Cookie Staples because I (in her words) didn't act black enough. I remember having a huge crush on one certain guy (no names mentioned) and being good friends with him, but as it turned out, he had a huge crush on one of my friends who also happened to be a cheerleader (a grade ahead of us).
