Tina's Story
Life
I am currently living in Columbus, Ohio with my husband Dylan and our three cats. I have been in Ohio since 1992. We have no children.
I am a Senior Escrow Analyst with Chase Home Finance.
I love to go tent camping, fishing, hiking, skiing, geocaching (modern day treasure hunting using a GPS), and I LOVE to play DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) and anything on the Wii! My favorite thing to do in my spare time is cross-stitch and play boardgames and card games with friends.
My most favorite past time though since 2005 is flat track ROLLER DERBY!!! Yes, ROLLER DERBY!!! You can see the Ohio Roller Girls, and me, at ohiorollergirls dot com. erience. If you woulda told me in high school I'd be a retired roller derby skater, I would have laughed at you.
Another fairly new hobby of mine, since May of 2007, is Japanese taiko drumming. I started a class under the leadership of Sensei Eric "The Fish" Paton, who teaches a public class at one of the city universities here in Columbus.
Dylan and I are enjoying our first house, and all the ups and downs that comes with home-ownership.
We hope that in the not-so-distant future we can renew our foster parenting license to help area kids get the structure, love, and attention they deserve.
All my friends here in Columbus say I am the most eccentric and outgoing friend they know. None of them would ever think to do some of the stuff I have tried, let alone skate roller derby. My question for you is...was I this crazy in high school?
