Tippy's Story

I am married to a great guy and the mother of 2 terrific kids; a daughter, 33 and a son, 26. Both are living and working in the Dallas area where they live close by. I received a B.S. in Biology from Cameron University and moved to the east coast after college where I started my government career in Washington, DC. I transferred to Dallas in 1997 to be closer to home. I work for ...Expand for more
Customs and Border Protection under the Department of Homeland Security where I am a software developer. I have 31 years of Government service and am looking forward to retirement soon - WOO-HOO :) Although I did not pursue a career in the biological sciences, I still have a deep interest for anything "science" and would like to continue working after retirement just for grins.
