Since those early days, life has taken me through a wide range of chapters, some planned and some completely unexpected. After graduating, I served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, an experience that gave me structure, perspective, and a lasting respect for teamwork and responsibility. I went on to build a long career in information technology, working in consulting and IT leadership roles before eventually transitioning into education. My academic path included undergraduate work in math and science, earning a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, followed by a Master of Arts in Teaching from Marian University. I spent several years in the classroom, and teaching became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. It reshaped how I think about learning, patience, and community, and it continues to influence my work today. While living in New England, alongside my career in technology, motorsports became a major part of my life. During that time, I raced motorcycles and Formula 500 open-wheel cars, experiences that combined engineering, discipline, and competition at a high level. Today, I continue to race and drive performance cars, including a vintage Porsche 914 and a modern Porsche 911.
