After college I moved to NYC and became a freelance makeup artist for film, photo shoots and television. At 25 I had my daughter Ashley and and became a single mom. In 1991 I opened "The Makeup Shop" in nYC (Chelsea) which I sadly closed in 2008. During those years I was blessed with many cool jobs like working for three seasons on "Cosby", got nominated for an Emmy in 2005 for The Jane Pauley Show, and worked with a lot of celebrities. This year (2016) I am upping my makeup skills to the next level by training to do permanent makeup, and areola repigmentation for women, post- reconstructive breast surgery after breast cancer. I think this will be an awesome way to help women by using my artistic skills and give back. I will also provide this service for no charge if a woman has no insurance or her insurance won't cover it. It is really such a crucial last step in a woman feeling "whole" again after such trauma and pain. After a bunch of years, I moved from NYC and I am now living on "Lawng Eyeland" but do not sound like that yet, (nor will I ever) with my husband Jesse, a little white Pomeranian named "Baby", our Cane Corso Mastiffs "Sorcha and Skye", our kitten "shiloh", and our African Gray Parrot "Popeye".
