Todd's Story
Life
After Marist, I went to MVCC for 2 years and then I joined the Marine Corps. I spent 5 years there from '88-'03 and left there as an NCO (Corporal) and crew chief on the CH-53E helicopters. From there, I went into the automotive industry - first in the retail tire industry and then working as a technical engineer for Bridgestone/Firestone while simultaneously attending DeVry's program in telecommunications management. As i was close to completing my degree, a friend of mine from Marist, Bill Langford, came up with an idea to start...Expand for more
a telecommunications company in Indiana. We built that into a successful venture - but I hated living in Indiana. I moved back to Chicago and through my job search, interviewed through a recruiting firm, Roy Talman & Associates. They offered me a role as a technical recruiter and I have been in the recruiting space ever since. I recently started a successful boutique recruiting firm (Exemplar Partners, LLC) catering to the financial industry. I specialize in the placement of quantitative, technical and trading professionals globally.
