or Austin ISD after that and spent 8 years working in deep east austin at an elementary school teaching music and technology (best time of my life). If you don't know anything about east austin, well, it's a high poverty area that generally finds itself backhanded by discrimination. A fantastic community, one that I miss very much. After 8 years at the elementary school, I moved to a coordinator position at the district level where I worked for 3 years. very interesting. I'll leave it at that. I currently work in a school district north of austin where I manage state and local assessments.
