Todd's Story
Life
I graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991. I then went to The University of Texas at Houston Medical School where I met my first wife and graduated in 1991. She already had two beautiful daughters that I quickly adopted once we were married in 1995. We then moved to Denver, CO and Chicago, Il from 1995-1998 for my surgical residency. During that time my youngest daughter was born. However, in 1998 I saw the light and decided my family was more important than my job and decided to change specialties and pass gas for a living. spent the next 3 years becoming an anesthesiologist. I spent 2001 getting subspecialty training in critical care medicine. I then took a job practicing anesthesiology and critical care medicine at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
I have had some major changes to my life since 2005 when I unfortunately got divorced and decided to change jobs. I now work at the Memorial Hermann eICU Advantage where we remotely monitor critically ill patients. I am very excited about the new opportunities that life has presented.
