Todd's Story
I am married, and the owner of a manufacturers representative firm, Somers-Stanton, Inc., as well as Somers Family MustKetch, a unique condiment. I met my wife, Ann, at Northwestern University, where I received a B.A. degree in 1973 (she was the class of '74). We were married in 1979, and we live in Trout Valley, Illinois, where I am a Village Trustee. We raised six children: Jim (38), Mary (37), Paul (34) Jack (32) Peggy (30) and Beth (27), and we now have eight grandchildren. I have stayed active with NU sports (after having played four years of football from '6...Expand for more
9 thru '72), and I am a past President of The N Club, the letter winners organization. I stay in touch with AHS friends, Dean Schmelzer '69, Jim Baumgartner '69 (and his wife, Gail Collins Baumgartner '70), Jay Harris '69, and Paul Tollefson '69. I also stay in touch with NU friends, John Purtill, Dave Glantz, Rick Sund, Bill Bauer, Bob Wellington, Dave Dybas, Greg Strunk and Mark Massery (as well as many others). Just keeping up with family and friends, Ann and I stay quite busy. Hope to see many AHS classmates at our 50th reunion on September 13th & 14, 2019!
