Where do I begin? Since graduating from Tracy High in 1981, I graduated from UC Davis with a BS in geology. At that point, I decided to join the working world. I became a teacher. I am certified to teach math and physical science (lots of stories behind my certification). I started as a substitute, working mostly at Lincoln Unified in Stockton, CA. In November, 1986, I was contacted by Central Catholic High School in Modesto, CA; I was asked to take on a long-term sub position for the remainder of that year. I taught AP Calculus and Algebra 2 that year. At the end of that year, I was offered (and accepted) the full-time position. I worked at CCHS until 2002, teaching more than math and physical science during this period.
