Tom's Story
Tom's schools include Conant High School, St. Viator High School. and Diablo Valley College. Tom works(ed) in aviation as a General Manager for a large aircraft refueling company at Chicago O'hare, Duluth Mn. and Anchorage Alaska. Then changed careers and was employed as a process control engineer for an experimental laser project at Lawerence Livermore National Laboratory. Hong Kong, Taipei, Melbourne Australia and throughout the USA. Returned to LLNL as was employed as a Group Leader for the Computing Operations and Networking team. within the High-Performance Computing Division. Was tasked with maintaining and operating numerous very large world class systems, Supervised a staff of 30+ hardware repair and software monitoring technicians along with network engineers. Retired in 2016.
