Tom's Story
Life
After high school I graduated from Illinois State University with BSed. Taught at C.B. Smith, 5th grade from 1974 to 1979. Joined Pekin Police Department in October 1979 where I was a Patrolman, Detective, and Juvenile Officer. Moved to Florida in 1987 and joined the Coral Springs Police Department where I was a patrolman, Youth Liaison Officer in the schools, promoted to Sergeant in 1995. ation Unit also known as CSI. Married Paula Lahman,class of 1971. Have 3 boys-Phil Secret Service agent in Washington D.C.,Charles in the Army in Ft. Hood Texas, and Tom a graduate of UCF majoring in Sports Medicine and received a Masters from Univ. of Florida as a Physicians Assistant licensed and certified. Paula and I retired in 2005 and moved out of Florida. Living between No.Carolina and Florida Panhandle. Traveling lots.
