Tom's Story
Life
For all the fellow classmates that remember me from Simi I was the singer and pianist from the music department. After a degree in music from CSUN I took a job directing choirs and bands in Santa Fe Springs, Ca.
I retired from teaching on July 1, 2008. We had a wonderful get together at Lake Center Middle School in June. Lots of old faces and students/parents that I had worked with. After 35 years of teaching it has been different to not go to work in Santa Fe Springs 10 months a year.

ducting duties are bands, orchestras and church choirs. Performances in both the United States and Europe.
I'm married with 2 grown children. Also 5 grand children. Enjoy traveling and growing old (and bald).
I still keep in touch with Gale Fiscus (vocal director of Simi in 68),Dean Immel (instrumental director, passed away in fall of 2023.
Dean retired in June of 2006. He was the Band Director at Burbank HS in Burbank, Ca. Email me if you want address or phone numbers.
I currently working with a Community Chorus based out of Cal State Fullerton. 55-85 year olds. Want to come sing. Drop me a line.
