Tom's Story
After graduating from Wahlert, I started at DeVry Institute of Technology in November 1967 and graduated in January 1970 with a BA degree in Electronical Engineering Technology.
I was a Hippie in those college days. I "Converted" after I came back to Dubuque.
Bummed around for a year and a half.
Started with Computer Consulting Services (CCS) in August 1972 as a Computer Operator. This company later became CyCare and then McKesson.
Got married in September 1972. Divorced in 1992.
Graduated from Clarke College with a CIS/MIS BA degree in 1993. (Yes, I'm officially a Clarkie).

McKesson, I retired on March 31, 2010 as a Technical Advisor.
My children are:
Nicole 39, a starving artist, organic gardener and perpetual student. Her daughter, my first Granddaughter, Ruby Rose, was born November, 2003. Update May 1, 2017. Nicole had twin girls June 11, 2015.
Chad 37, a chip off the old block and into computers like his "Pops". Married 11/11/11 and has a stepdaughter.
Mike 32, working hard and raising a family and always helping the "Old Man". His son, Benjamin, my first and only Grandson, was born July, 2010 and Granddaughter Allison born Cinco de Mayo, 2013
