Tom's Story
Life
Greetings classmates! I live in Ocala, FL (near Orlando and Tampa) where I'm in charge of voting fraud and ballot tampering. You remember 'hanging chad' - that's my handiwork. In my down time, I am a flight instructor at a local commercial flying school. Hey, anyone can make a mistake - those flight students seemed OK to me. Mary Jane, my wife, did think the prayer rugs were a bit suspect ... I just thought they were really religious. It was odd that none of them seemed concerned about landing. I'm a physician, and I practiced Internal Medicine for 10-yr in the Navy and another 9 in Modesto, CA. I've completed a fellowship for allergy and immunology at the University of South Florida. You might say it was a sabbatical. I'm slowly building an allergy practice now, so wish me well. I know more about dust mites, pollen, molds and cytokines than I ever cared to learn (that's snot funn...Expand for more

After high school, I went to undergrad and medical school at Northwestern U. in Chicago. I was on a Navy scholarship, so I spent 10yr in the Navy. I worked at Bethesda Naval Hospital, flight surgeon in Pensacola, FL, submarine and diving training in Groton, CT and Washington, DC. I also served in Puerto Rico (tough!) and San Diego(tougher!). You can vacation in Grenada and Panama now,thanks to my efforts. Don't thank me... it's my job. I drew the line at going to Desert Storm - shock and awe is not my thing. I got out of the reserves.
