Good grief, not much to tell here. Still single after all these years!
Update for 2007... Still in Springfield, OR working for Oregon Drinking Water Program doing Groundwater Geology work and working with ARCGIS software to streamline some of our workload/data management issues related to Emergency Spill Response notifcation for Public Water Suppliers. In my free time I still run, although this last year has been part of a slow recovery effort from some pulled/torn abdominal muscles that occurred two years ago. Just finished the California International Marathon (12/02/2007)in just under 4 hours, my slowest time to date but very encouraging considering I haven't ran one in two years. Did some traveling this year. Went to El Paso, TX for a dedication of the statue my cousin and his son completed at the local airport - currently, it's largest bronze equestrian statue in the world and very impressive (search internet for John H...Expand for more
ouser twelve travelers). During the same trip we drove out to tour Carlsbad Caverns - absolutely amazing (for a geology geek). Last July, met up with Mike Morgan (also SUHS Class of 84) and did a 75 mile backpack trip through portions of Yosemite National Park with his two sons and two of his Nephews. This Fall included work-related conferences in San Diego, CA and Port Townsend, WA (I know... pretty rough isn't it?) and an extended hunting trip in the Ochocos for deer season (still looking for that matching set of antlers to go with the 4-point from 1996). I'm looking forward to another mile-stone year of adventure in 2008 and hopefully this time next year I'll be able to say that I finally qualified for the Boston Marathon and filled my buck tag.
