Tom's Story
Life
Live in Denver. I will retire to Sterling in 2020. I didn't have a very high opinion of myself in 69-73. I was an under achiever at best, and didn't really care who knew it. I found out I was saving the best for last. The past few years have been the best of my life. My son married recently after returning from participating in the invasion in Iraq. second year at good ole NJU. She wants to work in the zoo. She could work where I do. It's the same thing. Actually I work in a very pleasant environment. I manage Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Front Desk at high rise retirement homes on Cherry Creek at Speer and Emerson. I haven't had a drink in fourteen years. Yeah, it was a problem. I hope old friends remember me just how I was. Angry, whiney, and under the influence. That way when I meet them again they will be surprised.
