Life
After be-bopping around mainly western states after "Pinner",and, after a short first marriage(31/2 years)I moved to San Diego on a spur of the moment kind of thing. After being in SD for about 2 weeks, I decided to drive around and look for a club. I walked into this certain niteclub, and while sitting at the bar talking to a couple there, I spotted a woman on the other side fo the dance floor. I turned to my new-found friends and told them "I'm going to marry that woman someday". This was June 30, 1986. July 4, 2004 is our 18th Anniversary. It took me a whole four days to show this woman, Renita Silverman now, that I was destined to spend the rest of my life with her. ...Expand for more
She still can't believe it, either! Now for the not so good part-she was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease, a neurolgical disorder that will eventually take her life within the next ten to fifteen years. We both were aware of it since it runs in her family, but, now that it's here, it's shown me just how much I love her. Sure, we've had our ups and downs, but we both know, and have known, that in the end she will be in my arms, or I in hers. We have three beautiful children, two are hers, and one together. I have a 23 y/o of my own. Miguel(29), Celeste(25), Riley(14-female). My daughter, Christina, lives near her mother in another state. Other than that, life has been good.
