Tom's Story
Life
Attended SIU and graduated seeking a career in broadcasting. After several years as a rock'n roll DJ and more years as a newsman in radio. I settled down and took on a major career shift. Joined the San Luis Obispo Police Department in California, and spent a total of 31 years there. Retired in a management position and was responsible for implementing a complete automated system for Dispatching, 911 services and Records Management. After retirement, we are able to fulfill our dreams, my significant other and myself, and have joined the ranks of fulltime RVer's. OK, things have moved ahead since I last updated this. Now, I am living in Las Vegas, NV and have remarried for the last time. A great wife and now the best of life. We both love having a NASCAR track close by and enjoy all the other things that Las Vegas can offer. Couldn't stand to be fully retired, so now I am the Manager of Transportation for a property management firm and take care of a fleet of vehicles and also arrange transportation and trips for the residents of the communities we serve
and supervisor the staff of the transportation department.
