Tom's Story
Life
I recently retired as a Battalion Chief after 30 years with the Fairfield Fire Department in California. I am married to the fomer Carol McMasters, of Monterey, I have three kids of my own and 1 step-daughter.
My oldest son, Tommy, lives in VA with his wife Jennifer and step-daughter Kalie, and works for Lockheed Martin.
My son Matthew is living in Sacramento, and works p/t for his Uncle Bill removing trees.
My daughter Meghan is attending CSU Sacramento, and works both for the City of Davis and Studio C.
My step-daughter, Erin, is a freshman at Winters High School.

nt as mayor. I also sit on Yolo LAFCO.
Currently we have 13 parrots in the house, 6 tortoises, 2 cats, 4 dogs, a snake, and a gecko. All of the parrots are rescues, and only 7 of them are here permanently. The others are looking for permanent homes, as we do companion bird rescue, as part of mickaboo.org and our inventory fluctuates.
My California license plate is "LIBERAL", and that's where I am politically- and always will be. I spend a lot of time doing battle over the reality of liberal thought and logic and the myths, lies, and urban legends.
I love to read, we have a small place at Lake Berryessa, and I never seem to get in enough fishing.
